Third and first year students from Department of Civil Engineering participated and secured third position in the Himalayan Hydro Expo 2022. The exhibition was held during April 02-04, 2022 and participants from various colleges and organizations were present. The students demonstrated various support system practiced during the construction of the tunnels in Nepal using a physical scaled down model of the Kathmandu University Research Tunnel.
The three day event was inaugurated by honorable President Bidya Devi Bhandari and showcased various products and services related to hydropower generation from about 100 companies from India and Nepal. More than 60,000 participants were present in the event including Hydropower producers, investors, designers, engineers, government officials and experts.
